Here I am on a boat in the Monterey Bay surrounded by migrating shearwaters.

I recently received my Ph.D at UC Santa Cruz in the Ecology and Evolutionary Biology department, studying behavioral ecology.

One of my main research interest is in understanding the behavioral variation in individuals animals, and how different traits may affect their social decisions and behaviors, and ultimately, their survival.

For fun I like to hike, play music, take pictures, and take my dog to the beach.
